Shy and kind dog Cash got to a woman named Novi Scott about 11 years ago, and in 2018 the family was replenished with another pet – a kitten named Gertrude. The two immediately hit it off – the cat followed her “big brother” everywhere, and he made sure that Trudy was always safe. According to Novi, Cash is a real gentleman and a pure soul.
He adores small children and is always friendly towards other animals. A modest dog will never climb onto the sofa without asking permission, although he has lived in the family all his life. He is one of those animals that will not even eat until the owner gives them a sign.
But Gertrude, on the contrary, is still a lady with character. From day one, she decided that everything in the house, including Cash, belonged to her. She exactly copies the behavior of a dog – and even asks to go to the toilet outside. The cat eats from his bowl and sleeps in his bed. And Cash, in general, does not mind, but because of the softness of his character, he often stays at night without a bed.
He himself is embarrassed to ask the cat to free the couch, and if he becomes completely unbearable, he comes to the hostess with a request to help.
And although, according to Novi, Getruda would definitely not resist if Cash lay down next to him, he himself is afraid to even try to do it. “Every night, seeing the cat sleeping peacefully in his bed, Cash comes to me and looks at me for a long time until I go and make room for him,” Novi says.
Despite some inconveniences of living together, Cash and Gertrude are crazy about each other – and this makes their owners very happy. And for this, too, you can thank the soft and pliable disposition of the dog, which is ready to endure any antics of its “little sister”, if only she was happy.
