The holders of the pet maybe had not idea that the soul of the dog was broken. It was afraid from others and did not communicate mostly.
As the new holders had a small child they thought it would be great that the child grow up accompanied by a pet.
The new family welcomed the dog with care and love but Callie did not calm down as it was not accustomed to the new vibe and environment.
