All the staff of the shelter did not know the origin of the terrible state of this animal. The head of Wildlife Rescue Texas found him extremely ill. Asha, this animal was only 30lbs and it was obvious he had signs of malnutrition, he was almost 8 years old but he looked like he was 3 months old Vicky, one of the shelter’s volunteers, a dedicated animal person, was extremely disappointed with the animal’s condition. She decided to investigate to find out what had happened to this poor creature.

She wondered how this 8 year old tiger could appear as a three month old tiger.
The poor tiger turned out to be part of a traveling circus. He was in the cage and couldn’t eat, and more so he had a skin infection, which made the situation worse due to the lack of proper care.

So Vicky took Asha with her to heal him.
“Twice a day I was giving Asha medicine and playing with him. And after eight weeks of therapy, I saw little fluff coming back to the bald area,” Vicky said compassionately.
