18 – year – old dog is so cute that even after the de ath of the for mer owner, she was adop ted for the sec ond time
Julep’s story is too banal. The former pit bull puppy lived with his former owner who died suddenly.
What was special to Julep and frightened future rescuers was that the 18-year-old white-faced girl was the oldest creature to arrive at the HRA shelter The team was, of course, worried that no one would want to adopt such an old dog. They were heartbroken when they thought the sweet, chocolatey candy was destined to spend their final days in the kennel. It would probably be the end of the story without a great man named Larch Wayne.
Luckily, Larch noticed this dog’s photos and story on the Facebook page and took action. The next morning, when the shelter opened, he was waiting outside the door. Wayne wasn’t sure Julep would be a good match with him, so he took steps to avoid making a hasty decision.
But as soon as he saw Julep, he said, “I loved it right away.”
Larch soon returned home and returned to the car.
The sec was not left in the room when the new friend left the shelter.
Wayne knew they might not be spending much time together, but he planned to make the most of every second.
