Chace, an abandoned dog, endured unspeakable cruelty for three years. His days are spent in isolation with brief moments of tenderness from his companion. As time went on, he became more and more anxious and his psychological health declined irretrievably. Still, we prefer the happy endings to this story. Meet Chace, it’s so cute!
In actual life, many bullied dogs have a sure chance of recovery. Chace was on death row in a shelter until she was rescued by an angel. This is Eldad, his rescuer. He walked into the shelter the moment Chace was waiting for his turn to euthanize.
In the clip, we see Chace’s tail lifted and his ears cupped in a deep cradle. Eldad held out his hand, but Chace hesitated. Chace bared his teeth and tried to push back before “hurting” her. because it was the only defense for him.
