Kin d people save d these pets from euthanasia and gav e them a new life
When irresponsible pet owners dropped off many sick puppies at a local animal shelter, they knew they couldn’t handle it alone.
So they turned to a team from Vet Ranch, a rescue organization comprised of volunteer veterinarians with the goal of caring for pets that no one else can.
“Our goal is to decrease the rate of dogs being euthanized due to overcrowding in urban shelters. We help them find forever homes,” explains Vet Ranch’s Facebook page.
In collaboration with the Abandoned Animals Project, the collaborators tried to save these cats from euthanasia. Unfortunately, the team was unable to save the lives of two dogs that were infected with parvo. However, they made efforts to get rid of toilet fleas, ringworm, hookworms.
By studying their bodies after the deaths of two dogs, the team was able to determine that they were on the right track with their treatment plan.
