Adams Peter was the overseer at Calderpark Zoological Park. There, he spent wonderful moments with an Asian elephant for 20 years and they met every day and had a special relationship. But Adams didn’t see her when Kirsty carried him.
But I just learned that she now lives in Germany. Rejoicing that she was alive, the former caretaker scheduled a date with his old relative.
Peter wasn’t sure Kirsty would recognize him, but when the elephant saw him, he quickly realized he was his true friend and greeted him with a big, warm hug.
“Certainly, I wondered if the elephants forgot, but no, never”. It was a moving experience for me that she left me to reconcile.
I will always hold those memories in my memory,” Peter announced. According to zookeepers, elephants are recognizable with whom they have interacted by voice.
