Spears makes heartbreaking confession about estranged sons after feud
In an honest Instagram post, Britney Spears talked about her sons who are no longer with her.
When the pop diva had her baby, she was 24 years old and at the pinnacle of her career. Her ex-partner, Kevin Federline, has two children with her: Preston, age 18, and Jayden, age 17.
But Britney doesn’t see the two teenagers anymore. They are reported to have chosen to move to Hawaii with their dad before meeting the singer and did not attend her wedding to ex-husband Sam Asghari.
This week, she also uploaded an old picture of herself with her son, who looked to be about three or four years old, coupled with a melancholy parenting reminiscence. He was seen outside with similar-aged children.
She claimed, “I would go to their school and eat lunch with them because I didn’t get to see my kids as much as I wanted to. But all he wanted was for me to hug him.”
In 2006, Kevin was granted exclusive custody of their sons following Britney’s divorce filing. He recently tied the knot with volleyball player Victoria Prince, who is taking a new position at an island state institution.
In September 2005, Britney and Kevin welcomed Sean, and in September 2006, Jayden. Kevin was granted permission by the singer to relocate to Hawaii with their sons in May.
The hitmaker from Toxic continued, expressing her hope that “one day I can show recent pics of us but in the meantime, I respect their wishes.”
Britney added that she missed her children “desperately” in a since-deleted message.
