Jessica goes crazy for leather in a chic biker jacket and towering high-heeled boots
Even in the days leading up to Christmas, Jessica Simpson radiated showbiz elegance when she ventured out to conduct errands in Los Angeles.
The forty-three-year-old was seen walking toward the stores, most likely to get a few last-minute things before the upcoming holiday.
She wore skintight black leather pants to flaunt her dizzying legs, and she skillfully balanced on a tall pair of platform boots.
The I Wanna Love You Forever singer accessorized her chic black leather jacket with a green purse and a figure-flattering top to stave off the winter chill.
Her recognizable features were framed by her characteristic blonde locks, worn down in silky curtains and accentuated with a splash of scarlet lipstick.
Jessica relocated to Nashville with her family throughout the summer to pursue her singing career again in the nation’s music capital.
She traveled with her husband, NFL player Eric Johnson, and their three kids, Ace, 10, and Birdie, 4, to accomplish this.
Even my children say, “You laugh all the time,” now that they live in Nashville. You’re very delighted,” Jessica disclosed to E! News during the summer.
The reason is because I’m not on guard. There are a lot of like-minded folks with me. It’s really about the music, the heart, and the conversation—not about the celebrity.
Regarding the change in career, she said, “I’m not nervous at all, but two years ago, when I was talking about coming back to music, I was scared.” However, I’m clear on what I want today.
“I’m building my own platform,” she says. For the first time, I’m executing it the way I would, independent of a label’s demands that I perform this song or work with this producer. I do everything myself.
Jessica hasn’t released a new studio album since Happy Christmas (2010), which was released more than ten years ago.
She has since dedicated herself to a number of other business endeavors, such as a jewelry line with Walmart and a best-selling book.
