In front of forty people, co-star Lively is delighted to strip threesome for a scene
Blake Lively had to go “naked in front of 40 people” on set, which made her raucous threesome scenes appear less “awkward” than they actually were on film.
Alongside Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson in the 2012 movie Savages, Ryan Reynolds’ spouse got down for the occasion.
Ben and Chon, marijuana farmers, were compelled to take on a Mexican drug cartel after their shared fiancée, O, played by Lively, was abducted in this drug-fueled epic.
Blake acknowledged that the sensual menage à trois sequence was just “awkward.”
“It was definitely really challenging because, on a set with forty people, the boys are standing there naked,” she said to TooFab at the time. That’s usually a little uncomfortable.
“There was a lot of sexual improv going on there,” Taylor said, echoing Blake’s observation that the scene was “awkward” to film.
“I knew Blake, I think three or four days really,” he continued. The first week of filming was that one.
To be honest, I was just relieved that everything was over. Without meaning to tease, it’s a rather powerful reveal. All of it is a part of it, and I’m glad it happened during the first week.”
Blake continued, “I think some women think one is enough, but that’s what was nice about this movie,” in reference to the scenes. It makes sense that the guy with the two women would be the one in this situation.
The Gossip Girl actress called the scenes “intense” and joked that it’s “not the sort of office work [she] signed up for.” “We shot them on the first day, and they were very intense and scary.
If you don’t feel comfortable with someone after that, it’s going to be a long road,” the woman stated. We truly bonded, so it was fortunate that we were able to accomplish it first.
