A loyal dog walked more than 150 miles to find her keepers who helped her in her difficult moments
A newlywed couple saw a dog wandering in the streets of Baldwin, Florida. The dog was very helpless and weak; she was going to have puppies.
The husbands couldn’t remain indifferent, and they took shelter to the poor dog. They named the dog Maggie. The dog fills the life of the couple with new interests and emotions. A warm friendship formed among them.
Weeks passed, Maggie had nice puppies. The couple looked after her puppies as well. As soon as the pups were old enough to live far from their mother, the husbands found new owners for them.
Though they loved Maggie a lot, the dog was very old, and they thought it would be hard for them to look after Maggie. Thus, they gave her to a new keeper from the neighbor city. The husbands also gave the new owner a lot of money for the proper nourishment of the dog, and returned to their home.
Two weeks passed, and the keeper of Maggie informed the couple that the dog had gone.
He looked for the dog everywhere, but useless. He began to believe that the dog had been lost. Surprisingly enough, Maggie appeared in front of the doors of the couples who helped her a lot. She had walked more than 150miles to find the newlywed couple.
After a long trip she was very hungry and tired. The couple fed her, then, she slept for a day. The New owner came to take the dog, but, the husbands didn’t give their loyal friend to him.
