The young driver managed to save the lives of little puppies, not allowing them to freeze on a cold street
MCTS driver Jamie Grabowski had just finished the trip around midnight last week when he found a couple of stray puppies on the streets. He stopped the bus and called them, fearing the couple might freeze to death or hit a car. “Hello, two people! I’m going home immediately,” Jamie said. “Go on !” Then she opened the front door and put the dogs on the bus. She then contacted the provider to advise him of her unexpected situation. Jamie started playing with the dogs until the police arrived. She took her to the Milwaukee Area Pet Control Board which accepts stray puppies.
They learned that the puppies somehow got out of their yard and were more than 4 km from their family’s house. The family looked for them all day.
”The MCTS bus driver was able to find the two lost puppies. She has also contacted the family of these dogs,” published the Pet Control Board.
Jamie helped the dogs arrive safely home in time for Christmas.
