Joss Bart once heard noises just outside the house. He thought it was a dove moving in its box. Still, “I was surprised to see four owls sitting in a flower box right outside my third-floor apartment window,” Joss told Vogels.
“One day I came home a little early to see what was there. Then the mother flew away,” he said. “The other owls can’t stop crying all week, but they were admiring while watching TV. For me, it was like a miserable movie. When you wake up in the morning, they’re right outside the window,” added Joss. He said he talked to an owl. “They’re not scared at all,” he said.
The eagle owl is one of the tallest owls in the world, but it’s hard to find in the wild and even harder to photograph with a camera.
