A group of teenagers recently decided to do charity work and organized a project to adopt homeless pets.

High school scout Tyrell Cooper and his Trop 3310 unit worked on a DIY project to build shelters for lone cats. These “cat houses” were donated to the LifeLines Project. This plan will serve to protect the stray kittens that live on the streets during the winter.
It is obvious that abandoned and stray cats can encounter difficulties and risks of hypothermia, if they remain exposed to the elements and are not protected.
Indeed, the life of these stray kittens is often shorter than that of adopted kittens. Well-cared for kittens can live up to 15 years, but stray kittens can only live two to five years.

And this project was thrilled to collect these colorful structures and shared their heartfelt thanks on their Facebook page.
They wrote that these shelters are intended to feed captured, neutered and released (TNR) stray cats. TNR is a program that keeps populations out of control while caring for stray cats that are feral and unadoptable.
Lifeline also shared some explanations for dealing with lost cats.

They can be cared for by their mother if they are in a warm environment that looks healthy, feels safe, and away from traffic. However, if you find yourself in an area that is cold, dirty, or at imminent risk, consider taking it to a shelter or chey for first aiders.
