A very cute story about how this owl plants a duck egg as her own
A photographer from Florida, Wolfe Lori, found a surprising thing in her park.
Lori has set up a new home in Jupiter. She also noticed ducks when transferring one of their eggs from one nest to another.
At the time, she didn’t think why she was doing it. To discover this unexpected couple living in the same nest. “When I opened a special nest, I noticed something fluffy hiding. I thought we had owls, but then suddenly an owl and a duck appeared together on near the door,” said Laurie.
“They were just sitting next to each other. It does not make sense. I don’t believe it yet.
A few days later, Lori noticed a duck jumping out of a box. This is completely innate because the ducks leave the shelter for a day.
The woman said: “I guess I heard the sound because I suddenly dropped the box and went to the back wall of our house where the pond is and the yard of the neighbor’s house, and I saw an adult forest duck.”
We know it happens, but we don’t really know how often.
