When we talk about caring for people in need it becomes clear that man’s best friend is also kind and cute, and yet surprisingly altruistic. This golden retriever dog is no exception. With her help, a small, broken, skinny horse got a second chance to live. Volunteers were shocked when the abandoned miniature horse roamed the streets.
The poor creature was “just skin on the skeletons”, and when they took him away, he couldn’t walk. The animal appeared to be heartbroken and couldn’t relieve it until a friendly dog appeared. This dog was three-year-old Molly and he understood that the horse needed someone to comfort him.
Helpfully for us, the center leader captured a touching moment between the two creatures. Molly actually has a special feeling when the horse falls or is sad. She shows up very slowly. It’s her occupation and she does it with pleasure.”
