A mogul is a mogul forever.
Before celebrity-owned beauty firms were even common, Kylie Jenner founded a billion-dollar cosmetics enterprise. She is now venturing into the world of fashion. The mogul has chosen to follow her love behind the scenes after watching innumerable fashion events from the front row. The reality personality, who earlier this week revealed her new brand Khy on Instagram, has now formally announced its launch.
The collection, which ranges in price from $48 to $198, will officially go on sale on November 1 at khy.com. It will include a number of excellent pieces at reasonable pricing. Press releases state that the brand “is dedicated to redefining the modern wardrobe with a collection that speaks to the avant-garde while remaining inclusive and accessible to fashion enthusiasts of all backgrounds” and that they will regularly release new collections in partnership with other designers, businesses, and public figures. Inspiring from Jenner’s own style, the company aims to “embody both futurism and timelessness, defying conventional fashion norms and redefining the limits of creativity.”
Along with its creators Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl, Khy will collaborate with Namilia, a well-known designer of leather wear, to create its inaugural collection. There will be twelve pieces in the collection, ranging in size from XXS to 4X.
Jenner appears to be wearing a black leather trench coat with a high neck, moto-style sleeves, and a belted midsection in the marketing photos. The coat is ankle length. She wore identical pointy-toed stiletto boots with the striking coat.
“Khy is a homage to the limitless possibilities of fashion,” Jenner stated in a release. “We are breaking down barriers and will redefine the meaning of a fashion brand, with creativity and quality at a better price. I wanted to make Khy a platform for our customers to have the opportunity to experience fashion, through new designers and brands, but at a more accessible price.”
Khy’s first collection will be available on Nov. 1 on Khy.com.
