Todd Haynes’s latest film, May December, has Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and other members of the cast and crew promoting nonstop.

The black comedy-drama Netflix hosted a Los Angeles photo call at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday, and the two A-list Oscar winners were present.

One day after the movie’s Los Angeles premiere at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the actresses were joined for the photocall by Charles Melton, who costarred with Haynes.

In response to accusations of infidelity leveled against her husband Benjamin Millepied in recent months, Portman seemed to go solo and forego wearing her wedding ring on the red carpet for the second day in a row.

Portman flaunted her small stature and sense of style when she stepped out in a black form-fitting top and a sequin miniskirt that shimmered in the event lights. She chose to wear few accessories.

The miniskirt had hints of purple, white, and burgundy, but its main colors were black and silver.

The native of Jerusalem, Israel, who was raised in Long Island, New York, Washington, D.C., and Connecticut, occasionally wore a purple jacket over her shoulder during the photocall.

The Oscar-winning actress accessorized her ensemble with a pair of black open-toe heels and long, dark brown hair that was parted in the middle and naturally waved.

Following several solo poses, Moore joined Portman on the red carpet. Moore was dressed in an all-black outfit that featured a long skirt and a short-sleeve top that hugged her trim figure.
