Rita Ora’s appearance on the red carpet with an eye-popping spine resembling a dinosaur that appeared to be bursting through her skin astounded onlookers.
When The Finish Line is out and about, she is no stranger to drawing attention to herself.
She made sure all eyes were on her as she flaunted the strange chrome spikes on her back by pulling out all the stops for the British Fashion Awards.
Rita looked stunning as usual from the front, wearing a long black dress that skimmed her curves and accentuated her tiny frame.
A different story was revealed by the star’s prosthetic backbone, which gave off an amazing reptilian vibe.
The chrome spikes were applied in rows to give the illusion that they were growing out from under Rita’s skin, and her sleek, backless dress showed them off to perfection.
In order to prevent anyone from being distracted by her strange necklace, her hair was swept up off her neck.
Rita accessorized her jaw-dropping appearance with an array of chunky silver jewellery, and several of her tattoos were visible.
She looked stunning as ever, wearing smoky shadow and berry-colored lipstick that accentuated her eyes while she posed for pictures with her director husband Taika Waititi.
The celebrity shared a glimpse of her pre-show preparations with fans on Instagram, stating that she was inspired to play the spine after she “made some noise” with prosthetic scales on her face the previous year.
According to her, applying the chrome spikes would require two to three hours.
