At an occasion, Emma Stone flaunts faded deոim and a leather top
At the All-Guild FYC Event for her Showtime series The Cursed on Friday in New York City, Emma Stone maintained a casual yet stylish look.
Leading the stars on the red carpet at Midnight Theater in the Big Apple was the gorgeous Oscar winner, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her main role in the production.
Alongside series creators Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, she looked stunning in a black leather top and faded denim jeans, stealing the stage with her bright smile.
Emma accessorized with black flats and a simple silver chain necklace, adding a dark trench coat to the ensemble.
She was joined on stage by her husband, Dave McCary, who she met at Saturday Night Live, to talk about the dark spooky comedy he produced.
Emma plays Whitney Siegel in the series, a woman juggling the premiere of her and her husband’s new HGTV show, their infertility issues, and the possibility that the marriage has been cursed.
It is Whitney’s responsibility to demolish old buildings and build her environmentally sustainable dwellings in their place.
Asher (Fielder), her spouse, manages the purchasing and building parts of their business in the meantime. He comes across as a little uneasy on camera.
The eccentric producer Dougie (Safdie), who happens to be Asher’s boyhood friend, isn’t shy about calling their next TV show ‘boring’ and drawing comparisons to a ‘infomercial.’
He thinks the show has the potential to be a huge hit, but they need to spice it up a bit.
With the show’s November 15 launch, Emma was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama.
Given that Nathan is mostly recognized as a writer, Emma expressed amazement at his acting prowess in front of the camera.
She told W, “He really blew my mind—he is such a good actor.”
