After four years of marriage, Jonas filed for divorce from Turner at the beginning of September.
In the midst of her divorce from Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner seems to be moving on with another man.
The 27-year-old Game of Thrones actor was seen kissing British aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson on Saturday when they were in Paris. Several media sources identified him, including The Sun, which broke the story initially.
The source said that the couple was seen kissing and speaking at the Gare du Nord train station. Turner and Pearson, 29, were spotted together at the Stade de France a few hours later.
The two were seen traveling together to the stadium for the men’s rugby world cup final, when Turner and former player Dan Carter unveiled the Webb Ellis Cup.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE, Pearson “followed a step behind” Turner as the two arrived at the stadium while wearing a baseball cap.
A request for response from PEOPLE was not immediately answered by Turner’s representatives.
According to Tatler, Pearson, the Cowdray family’s eldest son, is the successor to the Cowdray Estate and the title of 4th Viscount. In 2019, a British media revealed that he is also a director of a company that develops real estate in London.
The aristocrat’s most recent romantic relationship was with King Charles’ goddaughter, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark. The 27-year-old princess revealed to The Telegraph that the couple started dating in 2020. DailyMail then revealed that the couple had formally split up in September.
Pearson is quite secretive, in contrast to Maria-Olympia, who is well-known for having a strong social media presence, especially on Instagram. Turner appears to be following him on a secret Instagram account, though.
The alleged affair between Turner and Pearson occurs two months after Jonas filed for Turner’s divorce, stating that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
The divorce was not a “surprise” to those close to them, a source told PEOPLE at the time.
“They have been leading separate lives for months, yet they were never separated. They’re working it out in real time as far as custody is concerned—this literally just happened,” the insider told PEOPLE. “Yes, they were prenuptial. They were a Florida-based family. Over the past few months, the children have accompanied him on his tour with family. Sophie is employed in the United Kingdom.”
The couple posted a joint statement on Instagram the day after Jonas filed for divorce, saying, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to end our marriage amicably.”
“Although there are a lot of conjectural explanations for this, we genuinely hope that everyone will respect our wishes for privacy for our children and ourselves. This is a united decision.”
The former couple issued another joint statement at the beginning of October, following their decision to share temporary custody of their two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 15 months.
They said, “We have decided that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK after a fruitful and successful mediation.” “We look forward to being great co-parents.”
